Editor Guide

So, you wanna edit the ashea wiki. Fortunately, it's not hard to do.
Firstly, no matter what kind of page you want to edit or create, make an account in the top-right corner. Once that is done, you can look at the steps below to start editing! Make sure to use a unique password that is not shared with any other accounts you have.
General Tips & Stylization
- First of all, this wiki is made using MediaWiki, the same software that powers wikipedia. More in-depth editing help can be found on their site.
- Secondly, if you ever need help with editing, you can DM Voleia and ask any questions you'd like
- Every unlocked page will have 2 edit buttons, "Edit" and "Edit Source." Either of these will put you into edit mode.
- You can create headers using "== <headername> =="
- Nations (Imperium Sanctum Solaris) and wars (Raid on Trivia City) each have "template" pages, which you can copy and edit to fit your liking.
- You can add links using [[<Page Title or URL>|<Link Name>]]
- After creating a page, you can click on the category pages on the left and add it to the tables there. If you can't figure out how, just dm Voleia to add it. If the category doesen't exist yet, just add it to Info-Pages and we'll create the category later.
- To add a page to a category, simply add "
[[Category:Name]]

Creating nation pages
- First, visit Imperium Sanctum Solaris, click view source, and copy the source. Then, type the name of the nation you wish to create in the search bar at the top of your screen and click "Create the page "Nation Name" on this wiki" to create your page. Make sure you are in edit SOURCE mode
- Paste the source code you copied into the new page. Then, you can begin editing the text. At this point, you can save and switch to regular Edit mode.
- From here, edit the text on the page to your liking. Feel free to add or remove headers/sections. You can double click the infobox on the right if in Edit Mode to edit the fields it contains
- Infobox Guide:
- "Capital" refers to the capital city of the empire
- "Date" refers to the date the nation was founded
- "Demonym" means how you refer to people from this nation (e.g, someone from the U.S. has the demonym of "American")
- "Gov" refers to the style of government (Republic, Empire, Monarchy, Military Junta, etc.)
- "Name" is just the name of the nation
- "New" means whatever nations inhabited this nation after it fell, if the nation no longer exists. If it still exists, just say [Currently Exists]
- "Old" refers to whatever nations existed before this one in its territory, if there were any
- "Pop" refers to the number of people who primarily play as a member of this nation, and consider it their main nation.
- "Race" refers to what races are allowed or common in your nation
- "Religion" refers to whatever ingame religion your nation follows (or "none")
- "Ruler" refers to whoever leads the nation.
- "Secpop" refers to the total nation population, including those who don't consider it their main nation.
- "Url" links to an image (ideally a map, flag, etc) of your nation. Images can not be hosted on site, so link to something like Dropbox.
Creating War Pages
- The process is nearly identical to making nation pages
- First, visit Raid on Trivia City click view source, and copy the source. Then, type the name of the nation you wish to create in the search bar at the top of your screen and click "Create the page "War Name" on this wiki" to create your page. Make sure you are in edit SOURCE mode
- Paste the source code you copied into the new page. Then, you can begin editing the text. At this point, you can save and switch to regular Edit mode.
- From here, edit the text on the page to your liking. Feel free to add or remove headers/sections. You can double click the infobox on the right if in Edit Mode to edit the fields it contains
- Infobox Guide:
- "att" refers to all nations or other parties that were involved in the war. Significant players can also be listed.
- "attLoss" refers to all attackers who died over the course of the war
- "attStr" refers to the number of soldiers the attackers had at the beginning of the war
- "Battles" refers to all battles or skirmishes that occurred over the course of the war
- "def" refers to the same as "att", but for defenders
- "defAtt" refers to all battles won by the *ATTACKERS*
- "defBat" refers to all battles won by the *DEFENDERS*
- "defLoss" refers to all defenders who died in the war
- "defStr" refers to the number of defender soldiers at the start of the war
- "location" refers to the region where the battle took place - As specific as possible
- "name" refers to the name of the war
- "result" refers to what happened in the aftermath of the war or what peace deal was made
- "time" refers to the war end and start date
- "victor" refers to who won the war
Creating Other Pages
- Unfortunately, there are no templates for creating other pages yet- But this does mean you can do them however you would like!
- Feel free to build off other templates, if you wish.
- Make sure to add [[Category:Name]]and the term "__NOTOC__" to every page
