The Imperium Sanctum Solaris, translated to "Holy Solar Empire" and often referred to as the "ISS," is a nation in the northern part of the Agean continent of Ashea. The nation was founded in late 2023 immediately after the end of the Hadroni Civil War, as part of a peace deal between the three main belligerents. It was founded as a successor to the Phoenixian Empire, which had fallen in May of the same year. The initial goal of the nation was to unite all sun-worshippers under one banner and recapture the historical phoenixian capital, Aresol, which was considered a holy city in [[Solism]]
