The Raid on Trivia City was a conflict that took place in late March of 2024, when the forces of the Agea Defensive Coalition (ADC) launched a pre-emptive strike against a group of conspirators planning to invade its member state, the Imperium Sanctum Solaris.

The conspiracy plot had been uncovered just hours earlier and the goal of the battle was to kill the two main conspiracy leaders, CrazyCandy and Lifeetime, and take their gear. The battle mostly took place in the Kingdom of Jezolofin, where the conspirators were taking refuge alongside two Jezolofin soldiers.

The battle was mostly a victory for the ADC, although two ADC soldiers would later be separately assasinated by Crazy after the conclusion of the initial battle.

    Leadup to Battle

Some time prior to the battle, an undisclosed informant offered to share foreign state secrets with Empress Valentia of the |Imperium Sanctum Solaris (ISS) for a price of 3,000 coins. At the time, the Imperium was worried about the potential of foreign hostilities against the nation due to a recent change of leadership in the United Northwest and a new alliance of the southern powers, Tokugawa and Jezolofin. As such, the leaders of the ISS accepted his offer, although the price was brought down to 1,000 coins.

The informant revealed that Lifeetime, leader of the United Northwest, and CrazyCandy, leader of Xperia, were conspiring to form an international coalition against the ISS, which would invade the nation and take over the lands of Aresol and Calithia. These two towns were the largest and most important in the entire Imperium.

Upon learning of this threat, the Grand Chancellor (chief diplomat) of the Imperium reached out to Nitrix, a noble and acting leader of the nearby nation of Nylenor, who had a standing defensive pact with the ISS through the Agea Defensive Coalition. Nitrix promised to help the ISS if it was attacked first, and then assembled a meeting of nobles from Jezolofin, Nylenor, Tokugawa, and the Imperium Sanctum Solaris to discuss the threat.

Jezolofin and Tokugawa, two southern powers, were informed of the conspirators plans to invade and asked to remain neutral for the sake of stability. Tokugawa was angered by the actions of the conspirators, as they considered both the conspirators and the ISS friends, and so agreed to remain officially neutral while their leader, Livnupbtw, would support the ISS if they were invaded.

Around an hour after that meeting, it was discovered that Jezolofin had informed the conspirators of the meeting and the mole in their ranks, and allowed the conspirators to take refuge in the southern city of Trivia. With this knowledge, 8 ADC soldiers were quickly mobilized for a pre-emptive raid against the conspirators.

    Initial Advance & Battle

The ADC forces initially marched to the town of Lockwood, a central point on the map from where one can access a waypoint to teleport to various other waypoints around Ashea. The City of Trivia, where the conspirators were hiding, happened to have a waypoint within it to which the ADC forces could teleport.

Initially, the raiders waited in a church within Lockwood while Endili, a dragonborn, flew to Trivia City to scout the situation. While there, he found that the conspirators and their allies within Jezolofin were actively preparing for a raid, and had put traps around their waypoint . As such, the raiders decided instead to travel to the fortress town of La Monclova within the ISS-Allied Kingdom of Cadena. From there, the raiders descended down a mountain towards the territory of Jezolofin.
