The Liútǎng Province is a member state of the Chayuthaya Empire. Before becoming an official nation, Liútǎng was a simple land of rice-farming peoples spread across the jungles of the south, a culture which is said to spread from the eastern banks of the titular Liútǎng River to the mountains in the east. These people were commonly harassed by raiders throughout their history, including the former Asghal Khanate, until their people organized a small militia, led by warrior Qiān Zú (GTNNN1910), to push back against these violent nomads. By pushing back, the people of the Liútǎng legitimized themselves, and were eventually recognized by a close ally known as the Nekohana Crownlands, which would become the Chayuthaya Empire, absorbing the Liútǎng Province.

Currently, only one structured claim exists in the Liútǎng Province, with that being Fort Zhànhé, a military installation at the southwest edge of the province. Canonically, there exists a city at the center of the province known as Chénggōng, which acts as Liútǎng's economic center

Culture, Geography and Economy

Liútǎng takes heavy influence from eastern China and Southeast Asia. A notable cultural similarity between the two is the focus of wet-rice cultivation. Farming is the main economic driver of Liútǎng, and is a significant part of their culture as well. Fields are seen as holy sites, and so to desecrate one is akin to blasphemy. Hard work is the value the person in Liútǎng holds.

The province is located to the west of the Akaimo Dynasty, the capital of the Chayuthaya Empire. To the west and southwest, Liútǎng is bordered by the titular river of their nation. To the east and southeast, they are bounded by a high mountain range that stretches through the jungle. To the north is the bay which separates the south from mainland Agiya. Liútǎng's lands consist primarily of jungles. The climate of the rainforest and the sea from the north make the land very good for wet-rice cultivation.
