Solism

Solism is a major religion in the world of Ashea. It is primarily practiced within the lands of the Imperium Sanctum Solaris, however, it has also spread to other regions, such as Tokugawa, The Draconic Council, and Cadena. Though it began as a single unified religion, it eventually split into multiple branches which often find themselves in conflict. The core idea of Solism is the worship of the sun as the primary giver of life and goodness in the universe.

History

Solism was first created solely as the Order of the Sun, the first month the server released. Over time, it adapted new branches. The Children of the Sun came as a group opposed to the long time sewer rats, a group existing on the server for a long time. Months later, the Ecclesian Solaris was formed, opposed to the traditionalist and racist ideals of the Order of the Sun, and successfully took them down, becoming the empire's new main religion. Aurelisium was made in Cadena, worshipping the God Aurelisium, and Baldur's Light, originally being a religion based around the light, converted to the Solism and now worships both the Sun and the Light.
