The Imperium Sanctum Solaris, translated to "Holy Solar Empire" and often referred to as the "ISS," is a nation in the northern part of the Ashean continent of [[Agea]]. The nation was founded in late 2023 immediately after the end of the [[Hadron Civil War]], as part of a peace deal between the three main belligerents. It was founded as a successor to the [[Phoenixian Empire]], which had fallen in May of the same year. The initial goal of the nation was to unite all sun-worshippers under one banner and recapture the historical phoenixian capital, [[Aresol]], which was considered a holy city in [[Solism]]. 

Today, the nation is a feudal monarchy consisting of five member kingdoms: [[Aresol]], [[Zeltbruck]], Halcyon, Solhaven, and [[Hadron]], the Imperial Seat of Power.

The nation has two capitals, a cultural capital in [[Aresol]] and an administrative capital in [[Calithia]].
